Custom Orders
Custom order are welcome! I enjoy collaborating with individual clients to create items unique to them. A custom order requires a 25% non- refundable down payment.
A custom order takes a minimum of 14 days. Depending on the scope of the work & the design requested, the order can take longer. Complex layered designs by necessity take extra time in the studio. Also, ordering speciality supplies can also add to the days required to create a custom order. Photos of the finished custom order will be emailed prior to shipping for client approval.
Items not meeting client expectations may be returned within 7 days for a refund, that excludes the shipping costs and the initial 25% deposit.

A majority of consumer orders within the 48 contiguous states require a processing time of 1-2 business days after payment is received. Occasionally, an additional processing time may be necessary depending on item stock status. All of our items are shipped, US Postal Service Priority Mail, which takes 2-7 Business Days for delivery.

What shipping methods do you offer?
All of our items are shipped via US Postal Service. We offer Priority Mail (2-7 Business Days) & Express Mail (1-2 Business Days) for delivery.
To ensure Express Delivery is received next day, you must order items before 12:00pm (CST). We try to make every effort to rush your items overnight. If you have any questions about Express Delivery, please contact us.

Return Policy
Your satisfaction is always our top priority. If you would like to return your item for any reason, please ship it back within 7 days of receipt in NEW (unused, untested, and resalable) condition for a Full Refund.
For your protection, items must be returned shipping prepaid, insured for the full value and safely wrapped to prevent shipping damage. Items that have been used by the customer or items that have been damaged by use cannot be returned to us. Shipping charges on returns are not refundable.
All returns are processed within 10 business days of the receipt of returned merchandise. Refunds, when applicable, will be issued as soon a possible via PayPal.
Silk Tutorial: Care of Silk
Silk is a natural medium, a protein just like your hair. The luminosity and texture of the fiber gives exceptional dimension to the finished work.
One of the unique facts that make silk spectacular is that there is not a single insect on this planet attracted to it (that I am aware of)!
To store your silk simply roll and place in a drawer. Silk is self healing, which means small pin holes will disappear over time. When ready to wear, simply hang the silk for a bit to remove wrinkles.
Silk is strong, durable and lightweight. Perfect for travels! It is very soft and garments made from this fabric are extremely comfortable to wear. Sandy uses Jacquard Red Label professional steam set dyes, which are specially formulated for wearable silks. They are the most lightfast of any dyes in the industry and have exceptional brilliance and transparency.
The care of silk is simple:
Hand washed using cold water and a mild soap such as Ivory or Baby Shampoo. Use a gentle up and down motion then rinse well. Gently squeeze out excess water, quickly lay out flat on terry towels to dry. If needed, iron while still damp.
For small spots just dampen a cloth with cool water and rub gently.
Silk may also be dry cleaned.
Use special care when washing an item with fringe. A gentle up and down motion for washing and rinsing. Do not ring, just lift from the rinse water and lay flat to dry on terry towels. you may also hold the fringe while washing to keep it from tangling.
If the fringe becomes tangled use diluted hair cream rinse to help untangle. Use a gentle stroking motion pulling the fringe away from the silk fabric. This takes patience but is worth the time. I dangle the fringe over the edge of a table which makes it easy to hold the silk and gently pull on the fringe. A great opportunity to day dream!!
